Use the current invitation
Open the invite from this website rather than an old screenshot or copied post. Moderators can replace an expired invitation without changing the public /discord address. If no invitation is available, the page will say so; it should never send you to an unrelated community.
Before accepting, check the server name in Discord's preview. Do not enter a Battle.net password into a Discord message or a community website. Account linking, when available, should happen through the services' own verified settings.
Set your region and faction
Choose a region that matches your play hours. The EU and NA spaces exist to make conversations and recruitment easier to follow; a regional role does not promise a specific realm or an around-the-clock moderator. Select Alliance, Horde, or the spaces you actually play in.
Choose the activities you want to see: dungeons and raids, PvP, or roleplay. Keep unrelated channels muted so important messages are easy to find. The community welcomes returning players, experienced organizers, and people starting without a guild.
Introduce yourself with a useful detail
Your region, preferred role, available evenings, and what you enjoy are enough. You do not need to share your real name, workplace, address, or age. A simple "EU, usually evenings, looking for relaxed dungeon groups" gives others a place to start.
Find a guild or group
Browse guild recruitment for ongoing communities. For a single dungeon, raid, premade, or RP event, use looking for group. Include a start time with a time zone, the roles needed, and any loot or participation rules.
Keep invitations in the relevant channel and avoid repeatedly messaging people who have not asked for recruitment. Guild leaders can submit a public directory listing so players can find their community without digging through chat history.
Know where to get help
Read the community rules before posting. If an incident needs review, use the private report form and provide full context. Public accusations and pile-ons make it harder to review evidence fairly.
If a moderator decision affects you, appeals are part of the process. A decision can be corrected or removed. You can participate in the community without installing any addon.
Keep game news separate from community plans
Community events and guild plans come from their organizers. Game release information and account support should be checked against Blizzard's official website. We update community resources as confirmed information becomes available.
