PvE, PvP, and roleplay describe what players enjoy, but they do not have to define everything you do. WoW Forever Discord makes room for each, across Alliance and Horde. Specific realm availability and game rules should always be checked against official announcements.
PvE: build a reliable group
The PvE community is for questing, dungeon groups, raiding, and helping each other prepare. When looking for a group, include your role, available time, and whether you are learning the content. For recurring raids, choose a guild whose schedule and expectations match your week.
Clear loot rules and realistic finishing times make a bigger difference than a recruitment label. If your group welcomes first-time players, say so. If preparation is required, list it before inviting people.
PvP: agree on the plan
The PvP community is a place to find premades, teammates, and tactical discussion. State the activity, session length, voice expectations, and experience level. A casual evening and a coordinated push are both valid, but they ask different things of participants.
Keep competition in the game. Do not bring personal abuse, private information, or harassment into community channels. Disliking an opponent or losing a match is not evidence of misconduct.
Roleplay: respect the people behind the characters
The RP community helps players find guilds, social events, and shared stories. Event hosts should describe the premise, location, time, and any participation boundaries. Newcomer-friendly events benefit from a short out-of-character explanation before they begin.
Separate in-character conflict from out-of-character consent. Ask before involving someone in a storyline with lasting consequences. Keep public community spaces appropriate for a mixed audience and respect an organizer's event rules.
Alliance and Horde
Use faction spaces to find people you can play with. The public hub is neutral: organizers and moderators apply the same standards across factions. Neither guild size nor friendship with staff should determine how a report is reviewed.
Pick a region for your schedule
Use EU or NA community pages to start with players on similar hours. List a time zone when posting and check daylight saving differences for recurring activities. Region labels help coordination; they do not confirm that any particular realm has been announced.
Turn interest into a plan
Browse the guild directory for a long-term home, or post a group for a single session. Include the basics once so people can make an informed decision: region, realm, faction, start time, goal, and contact.
